A happy place ...

Playing along with Challenge YOUrself this month where we have been asked to scrap about our happy place.

Since my husband has retired we have spent a lot of time visiting local cafes and coffee destinations around where we live on the coast, enjoying some quiet time together - this truly is my happy place.

SOS in October x 2 ...

Playing along with both challenges on Scrap Our Stash this month.

The first is the Wheel of Challenges and this month it has come up with TOOLS and we have been asked to create a layout using two of our forgotten or least used tools.

I have circle punches I just don't use enough.  On this layout I have used two different sizes to help create my page.

The second is the sketch challenge and this month also includes the prompt to use polka dot or circle design pattern paper.

I used the sketch to create a vintage layout of my dh and his family as a youngster.

Christmas YOUrself ...

I enjoyed playing along with Challenge YOUrself this month with this great sketch.

I created a Christmas page replacing the three small photos with one larger one and used Christmas colours and embellishments. Added gold to my background paper.

My dh and I on a Christmas cruise a few years ago now.

White with 1 in October ...

 White with 1 October challenge is all about this very green mood board.

Any variation of green you want to use - you can range this from lime to forest or anything in between or you can mix it all up and use multiple variations of green just so long as it is green toned and nothing else. You can use black, dark brown, grey or navy as your accent colour for journaling, titles etc.

When I saw this image doing the rounds on the internet I just knew I had to do a tribute page for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II this month.

 This month at ARTastic we have a fun prompt with so very many ways to find some inspiration!

Create an artwork inspired by the featured ART ROOM and tell us how you were inspired.

I was inspired by the colours, theme and frames.
