So many directions I could have taken this but in the end I decided to go with the colour theme of pale blue (or it could be mint - it is hard to tell which it is on the computer screen) white, light brown and a touch of yellow.
I'm also going to apologise for the quality of the layout pictures - it has been raining all day here and is very dull. Trying to get a decent photograph has not been easy and the colours are just not as they should be. Handmade button embellishment included top left.
The second inspiration piece was, let's say .... different. Certainly a talking point but not one I could replicate anytime soon and going with a total brown and white theme didn't do it for me either. What I did have, however, in my "Yet to scrap" photograph stash was a series of pictures of my husndand and children climbing trees - yep never too old or too silly!! Thought these worked well to tie in with the tree perspective and I've added some touches of chocolate brown and used white cardstock as the base. Handmade embellie bottom left.
