I admire Ali Edwards for many reasons other than her remarkable talent in memory keeping. She doesn't put herself on a pedestal, she doesn't think she's a cut above everyone else. She's kind and gentle, a mother doing the best she can. She's real and I think she's inspirational.
I very much like what she has said and how she has said it in this lovely story about her family acquiring a cat. It proves that even a simple story can mean oh so much. The words aren't complicated, nor is the story yet it comes from the heart and that is why it works so very well.
