More freaking challenge submissions ...

Two challenges on Another Freaking Scrappy Challenge this month (gosh I love that name - has me smiling every time!).

First off is the prompt challenge to "Scrap about one of your greatest current challenges or one from the past".  This took quite a lot of thought especially as I didn't want to get too personal on a public forum but did want to capture the essence of the challenge and also find appropriate photographs for my story.  Eventually I settled on telling the story of the last set of photographs I took of our family cat.

Journaling reads ...

These are the second to last photographs we have of Sox.  At twenty-one and a half years of age she did little more than sleep on the lounge or bed all day and we had to entice her to eat enough - often taking turns to sit and encourage her at meal times.  We knew in our hearts her time was near.  Only weeks after these pictures were taken she deteriorated rapid over two days and passed peacefully in my arms one sunny June morning in 2006.  She was a wonderful addition to our family and we still miss her.
