Blogging - Prompt 3 ...

Favourite things, sites, post, blogs ..... Hmmm

I'm a bit of a creature of habit and one of my first chores for the day (once I drag myself out of bed in the early am) is to make myself a cup of tea with bowl of cereal or slice of toast and check my emails and then do a tour of some of my favourite scrappy blog sites.  My frequent go to international blogs are:-

http://aliedwards.com/  Who doesn't like Ali Edwards?  Inspirational, talented and approachable.  I have gleaned so many wonderful ideas from this extraordinary site.  Her One little word, December Daily and Week in the life series are life changeable.

http://www.cathyzielske.typepad.com/  I totally love, love Cathy Zielske.  She's quirky, sarcastically witty, energetic and a whole bunch of fun.

http://www.writeclickscrapbook.com/write_click_scrapbook/  Very much enjoy this site - interesting articles, loads of great information and almost daily inspiration.

http://jennibowlinstudioinspiration.blogspot.com/  Since I particularly love vintage style scrapbooking this site is a must go to for me.  Jenni has some wonderfully talented ladies on her design team (I adore Doris Sander and so enjoyed her talent when we worked together on Get it Scrapped!)

http://www.donnadowney.com/  I admire and love watching Donna's creative approach to her work.  I've been fortunate enough to meet her and do a live class and she is a very down to earth, approachable lady that simply oozes talent.  Her free Inspiration Wednesday tutorials should not be missed.

http://nichoward.typepad.com/  I've always been impressed with Nic Howard and became even more so when I had a chance to get to know her at Autumn Retreat in Lake Taupo NZ last year.  Just a really, really nice lady with no airs and graces who loves what she does and inspires many others to love it too.

http://www.shimelle.com/  Sweet, cute and very talented, Shimelle is my sort of scrapbooker.  She gleans inspiration from the most everyday of daily life and blends it with her unique and joyful enthusiasm for life.  Don't ever change Shimelle - we love you as you are!

There are so many more - think I'll save those for another day.

I follow four of the blogs you've mentioned myself. Nic Howard was in South Africa last year and gave a class as part of the SA Scrapbook Convention at Spier in Cape Town, and it was awesome to meet her. I'm sure you've read some of her blog posts of her visit to South Africa. Makes me feel all warm all over again.
